Blog 156 Procrastinating Much?

I have a few things I would like to get done, how about you?

Like clean and organize the garage, paint the kitchen, and complete and publish my 2nd book. I am sure we are all working on something.

But are you procrastinating? Or just letting everything get in the way!

I know all of us have things that we would like to get accomplished and complete and in some cases have to get done. This is a great time to look at it, spring is a new beginning and the energy is with us.

How many times have we said: “Oh I will do it later!” or maybe tomorrow. Or like Benjamin Franklin said “Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today.”

My usual way of procrastinating is reading, writing or talking on the phone or cleaning something else. What is yours?

Friends and family say they get stuck watching videos on YouTube or scrolling through Facebook or Instagram.

One thing that helps me get started is by grounding myself and then releasing and grounding off all of the stuff in my life that seems to be in the way of me accomplishing what I am choosing to get done: like feeling there is no time, or it has to be perfect or I can’t do it. I then look at my Havingness and slide it up to 100%; then I see I can truly have this! Then just ground off all frustrations, irritation and all those perfect pictures that are keeping me from finishing. And then I set powerful intention for the day or the week to begin.

Taking just a few steps to begin to complete is helpful. For example a great way to start spring cleaning is to clean out one drawer in the kitchen and that always helps me to get started.

It's a perfect time to turn within to become aware of your thoughts that are connected to the patterns of resistance to getting things done.

Release distractions and claim your power of attention to create what you are being guided to create.

Stop and ask for divine assistance from your guides and teachers to take the first steps; and trust and know you are being divinely guided.

Appreciate and acknowledge your willingness to change old patterns and behaviors. Have the intention of just doing one thing that day toward completing what you would like to complete, then go on to the next.

Take on the attitude that whatever you do will be fun and joyful, even if it is a really dirty job!

You are the creator of your own extraordinary life, not a prisoner of old habits! Let them go. Know you are a incredible capable intuitive Light in the world and let yourself shine!

Be nice and neutral and in no effort and in lots and lots of amusement! Stay in amusement and the energy stays light and it is much easier to get things done!

Just think, you can then check it off your list! Woohoo!
Freedom and validation!
