Blog #184 You Can't Please Everyone!

It’s even hard to please ourselves at times!

If we focus on living up to everyone else's standards and spending time doing that, it doesn't really work. It's like marching to the steps of someone else's drum, but your gifts and music that are inside of you are different and truly unique to you.

In a way, having those around us that we can't please is a good thing. It makes us realize that there are millions of ways to think, to be, to express ourselves and it's awesome we have so much variety. It's okay to be different and agree to disagree. It's okay to be unique because the more we realize the differences between one another, the more we realize how truly alike we are on so many levels. To have love and compassion and acceptance is a gift we are giving ourselves!

We are all one! We are Spirit and also human and eternal!

When there are certain people you just cannot please, stop and ask yourself, why am I trying so hard to please them?

Is it energy in our space that they want us to do what they want us to do?

Or is it programming from growing up as a kid that we always were trying to heal and help and please other people.

Either way it's not necessary to get stuck there. YOU are a magnificent expression as the spirit of God within you. Each of us, every cell, every molecule and everything we think, feel and experience. 

It is for us to first heal and please ourselves and then choose how best to express that in our relationships with others. Having love, compassion, and understanding in sharing ourselves and who we truly are.

Meditate for a few minutes about why you are trying to please those around you. Is it your choice? Then ask yourself why?
Listen and then ground off and clear any stuck energy, and then choose a new way!
