Blog 191 Visiting Angels

It has been a challenging few years for a lot of us, with those taking their leave and supporting friends, family and clients who have been going through feeling really stuck and depressed.

Asking God and our guides for full awareness of healing, health and wholeness with limitless abundance and havingness helps!

Last week with my sweet 11 year old Kitty Kailua made her transition to spirit in my arms at the vet, when we had to put her down because of a tumor in her bladder. It was so very difficult to let her go.

But what has made it wonderful is; everything I did around the house later that day Kailua’s spirit was sitting there. By the end of the day she was sitting on her favorite chair and then sitting on the puppy’s favorite chair. During that first week I saw her on top of the refrigerator and then lying on the pillows on the bed. It seemed like I kept seeing her everywhere around the house.

When I would wake up, she was on the bed and when I was cleaning the kitchen she was by my feet.

A few days later lying on my bed with my other Kitty Kalani by my side, Kalani sat up quickly just like he does when Kailua would come down the hallway and jump up on the bed. I am sure he could see her.

Kalani those first few days would look for her under the bed a few times and in the closet. Now it seems as Kalani knew that Kailua is gone.

The morning I picked up Kailua’s ashes from the vet, I heard Kailua’s voice, she meowed like she did when the puppies would come in from outside. I knew it was her.

The vet had put her ashes in a pretty white bag with a beautiful blue cylinder and a little clump of her hair and a sweet little footprint. When I got home I placed it on the floor and Kalani, my other Kitty, kept rolling on the bag and rubbing on it for at 35 minutes; he could really smell her and feel her presence. Then when I took the bag to my puppies Kaillee and Ricky and let them smell it, they almost seem like they couldn't get enough and kept looking into the bag like Kailua was going to come out. So sweet and tender, we all love her so much.

Visiting Angels can be a family member, it can be a friend and it can be our sweet sweet pets. Just saying hello and reassuring us that we are loved and just want to hang out with us.

Be aware when visiting spirits come to call. Say hello and take a few moments to communicate with them.

You may be aware of a beautiful fragrance like when I come home and my whole house smells like of my Grandmother Merle’s house, who is my mother’s mother. Her home always smelled so yummy like vanilla, bananas and cloves when I was growing up. It is always her calling card when she comes to visit me from spirit.

A client shared that he always knew when his Dad was around because he would smell his Dad’s favorite flower carnations. And another would smell the beautiful fragrance of her Mother’s perfumed soap when her Mother would some by to say hello from spirit.

Sometimes I will smell my Dad’s Old Spice cologne or my mother’s favorite Gene Nate body splash she wore. Fragrance is a strong calling card from spirit as well as sound like calling or singing or whistling. Like my Dad always did to call my brother and I home in the evening by whistling.

The holiday is often a time when family, friends and pets in spirit will come by to share their love with us.

Be open to spirit saying hello to you, and say hello back!
