Blog #97 Letting go of Fear & Limitations

Fear doesn’t control me or like the title of that new book; “Fear is not the boss of me!” But it sure does feel like it controls me sometimes. How about you?

I love the book “Feel the Fear and Do it anyway” by Susan Jeffers. That amazing book showed up in my life in 1988 when I was making many changes in my life; in my career, relationships and doing a lot of study and growth in my spiritual work.
Reading that book helped me to feel the fear and release it all and do it anyway. When I was offered a position as a dental rep and advisor, meditating on the offer and my experience I would bring to the table; I wasn’t sure if it fit in with all the other things I was doing. I had a lot on my plate, doing readings, officiating weddings, writing articles for a magazine and looking at writing my first book.

But as I meditated and then wrote a list of what I would like to get from what I was doing and sharing; my guidance became quite clear it would be a good change for me. I could travel and work my own hours, teach classes and take classes and go on retreats.

In Susan Jeffers book, she has you take a look at: How Whole is your “Whole Life?”

Looking at our whole life or the big picture of our life is very helpful. Draw a pie on a piece of paper and each section has a topic; Leisure, Contributions, Hobbies, Family, Higher Self, Personal Growth, Work/Career, Relationships and Friends…

Notice which section of the pie you are not giving much space to be creative in your life. What is missing? What have you always wanted to do but are not doing as yet? Validate where you are and where your life is over flowing with love, joy and creativity! Add what else you would like.

It is a powerful exercise to validate and own what you are creating and see the limitless possibilities and opportunities.

Where are YOU on your to do list; number one or number six? If you are not first or second on your list, you just never seem to get to you.

Notice what and who you are listening too, is it your inner ego chatterbox or your Higher Spirit Self?

Changes can be hard at times, but also very exciting. When I made that big change in my career, it allowed me so much more freedom to do all the things I was being guided to do and places to go and people and teachers to meet. What a blessing, I am so grateful for all in this incredible life that I have learned. I am so thankful for all my cherished family and friends.

Trust in the power that is YOU; it is your divine light that leads you toward your path and true guidance. Let go and soar with the winds of change and creativity, for we all are here to thrive beyond our wildest imagination.

Let go of all limitations in your life and know you are an eternal being Limitless beyond measure!
