Blog #108 Are you doing what you came here to do?

May is a good time for a destiny check.

It has been a wild Astrological ride through April, Mercury was retrograde, we had an incredible Solar Eclipse in Aries and a lot of the big planets in Aries are making themselves noticed. Such an awesome time of letting go of the old and opening to the NEW, creating what you are here for in this incarnation!

I have been studying and learning about Astrology since the age of 15 and my mother being a professional Astrologer since then, I learned most of Astrology through osmosis doing readings and studying charts. :)

Astrology it is an amazing tool. The planets create the aspects and we experience the changes and insights they stir within us to expand our own awareness.

A dear friend and incredible astrologer Philip Sedgwick has a powerful newsletter he sends out. I wanted to share part of this one with you because it is a great reminder to take a look at where we are on our path of our soul’s purpose and divine plan.

“Pluto always endorses the path of passion (no matter what). This is Aries time for Mars. Think of yourself and what you need... what you really, really, really need. Plot with Pluto to make a plan, engage Mars, and non-impulsively with perfect instinctive pitch, go get it as if there’s no tomorrow.

Over the next weeks Mars, from his reign over the initiatory energies of Aries, engages several other planetary gizmos in ways that promote self-assertion, self-declaration and self-fulfillment. On the heels of Jupiter to Uranus in Taurus and previewing Jupiter in Gemini forming fabulous alignment with a plethora of things galactic, how cool is this?

On 19 May, Mars crosses the north lunar node. This is a destiny check. Are you doing with your life what your purpose for selecting this incarnation directs you to do? If not, reset, calibrate the consciousness compass, redefine your direction, and pursue the meaning of life with glee and youthful optimism. Get maximizing!

The Aries self-referential theme intensifies in the form of pure self-advocacy as Mars squares Ceres in Capricorn come 27 May. This is where one must declare the meritoriousness of ones efforts in life and ascribe a full cornucopia of benefit from all those tasks engaged on one’s daily path in life. On 28 May, Mars conjoins Chiron in Aries, the affirmation from above is to ensure that ultimately all acts done that include others come back to offer primary benefit to all your personal causes. If it’s not good for what ails you, why engage? You know how investing yourself in situations that do not further your purposes ends up. Commit to the well-being of the spirit existing within your body with all events, tasks and persons with whom you choose to engage.

Wait! Is this about being selfish? No, it’s about putting your own oxygen mask on first when flying at high altitudes and experiencing a cabin depressurization. Symbolically, really, literally and figuratively, what benefit do you offer others if you are unconscious?”

Good points to think about! Don’t worry if you don’t know Astrology just go with the flow of the universe.

Be awake and aware to life’s changes; time to dream and re-evaluate what is unfolding! What is working and what isn’t? What is it you still would like to share? What would you like to change, improve or expand?

Astrologically speaking this is a good time to look, as the divine flow is with us!

Meditate, create and share the extraordinary - YOU!
