Blog #138 For the Sensitive Soul

So many sensitive souls out there! We came in that way. We didn’t get a manual about how to handle all this crazy energy in the world. We learn as we go, and if we are open and listening, we are guided to the correct teachers for what we are choosing to learn in this life time.

What a gift! I love the saying: “When the student is ready, the teacher appears.”

Sometimes we don’t feel ready for it, because when a teacher appears in our life it can sometimes feel like you just got hit by fast moving train! HA HA! The miraculous thing is, everything and everyone is our teacher no matter how young or old, related to us or not, human or animal, or angel or spirit guide. All are our teachers that may be all teaching the same class we have taken over and over again in this life or even in many life times.

Stop and ask and listen to your intuition, you will be guided and know where to go and be.

As we finish up the year be gentle with yourself:

*Use your spiritual tools

Ground and run your energy Taking the time each morning to ground yourself from the first chakra to the center of the Earth helps us to be neutral, and in no effort and peaceful and in present time and in lots of amusement as we go through our busy day. It helps to make the expression of love and compassion such a joy so we can all be more kind and gentle.

At the end of the day, take a few moments to ground off all the energy and programming that is not yours from everyone and everything from the day, then call back your own energy into a big gold sun above your head and fill yourself up with your own life force energy. This way we get our own energy back from the day and can be and live in our own true vibration.

 *Don’t take things personally

If someone directs some incoherent rant your way, you may feel hurt. Here’s the deal: people who experience problems in life – and don’t know how to solve them constructively will often, consciously or not, take it out on others.

We see this with irritated co-workers, who seem mad at the world, quickly leaping at the opportunity to voice their irritation to someone else. They redirect their anger and frustration as often a very hurtful way to cope.

* Listen to your intuition and then make your choices

As a sensitive person, perhaps you have allowed anxiety or sensitivity to supersede your judgment. It is easy to do this. High cognitive and emotional sensitivity can impact how we make our decisions.

So, try to make the best choices by using your intuition first and then your logic and you’ll be much more satisfied and less stressed as a result.

*Treat yourself gently

The ironic thing about some sensitive people is that they can be really hard on themselves. They’ll treat everyone else as the center of the Universe, but they’ll neglect themselves. The pattern of overthinking can explain part of this challenge.

What can help for most people is exercise, focusing on work, supplements, and a good diet; but I feel most importantly meditation and being grounded and staying aware.

Remember, the world needs you. But it also needs the best version of you. Please be grounded, gentle and loving with yourself.

*Always remember you are worth it!!!

The world desperately needs intuitive sensitive aware people. This is absolutely true! You can and do change the world!

Wars, poverty, disease, death, climate change, tyranny…yeah, it’s fair to say we need sensitive, confident people to stick up for what is right and speak your truth.

*Find your purpose

In addition to remembering what you’ve achieved, another great way to boost your spirits is to find your passion and life’s purpose.

Throw yourself into something that you love doing. The transformation that takes place when doing something that you love is miraculous. Think of an upset baby whose mood changes instantly when given a favorite toy. Seriously, this is what it feels like.

Your purpose is usually simply and one word expresses it: Joy, Love, Communication or Awareness…!

We can have many passions: art, nature, sharing and dance…!

The saying goes – “Find your bliss and do it!” When you are creating and doing something you love, you seem to lose all sense of time. Create and your energy and time expands.

“Be gentle with yourself you are a child of the universe!”
