Blog #217 Embracing June!
Can you believe it is already June! And summer is upon us!
I remember as a kid I could hardly wait for summer to come. I loved staying out till dark, which was usually almost 9:00pm. I loved playing at my friend's swimming pool all day, practically never getting out of the water.
Or going up to Lake Gregory, and camping or staying in a cabin with my family. My dad would fish and we would play all day on the lake. It was so beautiful and such a wonderful memory of my childhood.
I know we all have good and not so good memories of summers back then. I love what Louise Hay said in her calendar for June this year.
From: You Can Do It calendar by -Louise Hay
“If I ever find myself worrying or struggling with something, I remember, that the universe is eternally there for me. Even if it may not seem that way, it is like the sun which is always shining even though the clouds may obscure it for a while.
When fear or worries come, I choose to see them as temporary, passing clouds in the sky. I am safe, no matter what. I trust the Universe to take care of me, and I release all control to it. I am at peace with myself and all of life.”
Embracing June and this new season beginning, it can be like starting a brand new year!
Seeing the gorgeous flowers that only bloom in June, like roses, agapanthus, sea lavender, jacaranda trees, magnolia trees and so many more. It is such a gift from sweet Mother Nature that we are all a part of.
Such a miracle unfolding everywhere we turn.
Embrace this time of year for yourself, and remember the joys and laughter from the past, and give that to yourself as a gift. Feel it, taste it, smell it and let it vibrate with joy in every cell of your body memory.
Take a few moments give yourself a mini vacation of a very special time as a child that you loved. Breathe in the peace joy and freedom! Own that experience right now in present time!
