Blog #106 Awesome Ways of Blessing Our Sweet Mother Earth

Happy Earth Day!

Earth Day is every April 22nd and is a powerful opportunity to appreciate and remember that we are all stewards of our amazing home, planet Earth.

When I was in high school in 1970, we would go and pick up trash at the local beaches and in and around our own neighborhoods and town as well. We created an organic garden at school and at home and made a commitment to save rain water and use less paper and plastic where ever possible.

There are so many things we can EACH do every day to help.

Many significant milestones of Earth Day over the years:

Earth Day was founded in 1970 as a day of education about our environment issues and is now a global celebration.

1970 Earth Day-20 million people participated in massive rallies coast to coast for healthy sustainable environment through education; thus Earth Day began.

1990 Earth Day-200 million people in 141 countries assembled to catalyze policies of worldwide recycling.

2000 Earth Day-a huge push to organize global warming education and clean energy measures worldwide

2010 Earth Day- over 75,000 global partners in 192 countries launched the world’s largest environmental service projects, A Billion Acts of Green and The Canopy Project to combat climate change.

2024 Earth Day-this year we can all do our part whatever we are guided to do, to create a healthier planet for all.

Some of this information is from our organic farm box newsletter that comes in our farm box each week- “Farm Fresh To You .com”

Earth Day is a beautiful reminder:

-To bless the Earth with love and kindness in everything we do for the Earth and for each other.
-Staying grounded, loving and kind to the Earth and one another

-The perfect occasion to adopt new habits for the greater good of our planet.

-Give up plastic straws
In America alone, 500 million straws are used every day which end up on beaches and ocean and are very harmful to marine life. A great idea is to get a pack of reusable bamboo or stainless steel straws.

-Reduce food waste
Plan out your meals per week and know exactly what you need. Then freeze as much as you can. Estimated 30-40% of food in the US gets thrown away!

-Pick up trash
In your neighborhoods or at the beach or wherever you see it, so it doesn’t make its way to the ocean.

-Let go of using paper towels
It’s easy to use cloth towels instead, and then you are saving the landfills and the trees.

-Use a pitcher in the shower
Collect the water as your shower is warming up, and then use the water to water your potted plants

-Use canvas bags (instead of plastic) when going shopping

- Create a garden and compost if possible

-Send healing loving prayer energy to all of planet Earth and all of humanity!
So we can all stay focused on what we would like to create; a peaceful loving joyful world.

There are so many more things we can do, if all of us think of one thing each week to help; we can keep our eye on the ball or on our blue marble called Earth.

Please join us every Tuesday Mornings at 9:00am in our powerful synchronized World Healing Meditation united together in prayer as a group at the same time, individually on our own. The power of uniting together in love and healing prayer is transforming for ALL of us and for ALL of Humanity and sweet Mother Earth.
Blessing ALL Creating Miraculous Miracles!

Choosing to all keep our awareness that we can do this together as one human family-

WE CAN DO IT!!!
