Blog #134 Making Assumptions - Anyone?
Happy Election Day for the USA; it is our choice and we get the awesome opportunity as citizens to VOTE for what we would like! We get to choose, not just assume what will be. YAY!!!
I love the book “The Four Agreements” by Don Miguel Ruiz (A Toltec Wisdom Book)
First agreement-Be impeccable with your word
Second agreement-Don’t take anything personally
Third agreement-Don’t make assumptions
Fourth agreement-Always Do Your Best
Continuing the points of the book “The Four Agreements” from last week’s weekly blog #133
Third agreement-Don’t make assumptions
“With clear communication, all of your relationships will change, not only with your partner, but with everyone else. You won’t need to make assumptions because everything becomes so clear. This is what I want; this is what you want. If we communicate in this way, our words become impeccable. If all humans could communicate in this way, there would be no wars, no violence, and no misunderstandings.”
“When you transform your whole dream, miracles just happen in your life. What you need comes to you easily because spirit moves freely through you. This is the mastery of love, the mastery of gratitude, and the mastery of life… and path to personal freedom.”
We don’t have to judge or criticize what others do, we can just step back and understand and forgive them and forgive ourselves and release it all and move on.
The Fourth agreement-Always Do Your Best
“Under any circumstance, always do your best, no more and no less. But keep in mind that your best is never going to be the same from one moment to the next. Every moment is alive and changing all the time.”
“Do not be concerned about the future; keep your attention on today, and stay in the present moment. Just live one day at a time. Today is the beginning of a new dream.”
I feel, most of us work at NOT making assumptions about others and having as clear communication as we can and doing the best we can every day. Doing our best is the best we can do!
Staying grounded and centered and being in present time helps to be aware of what is unfolding around us and keeping us out of being judgmental and making assumptions about what we think may be going on.
Being who we are as a spirit in this body temple of ours in this life, it is like being a juggler keeping all the balls in the air and staying in amusement with a big smile on our face, which makes life much more fun and joyful.
Put the 4 agreements on a post-it note and tape it to your computer so you can see it every day. The power of your intention and your focus creates your life.
VOTE!!! :)
Hope you all have a beautiful day!
