Blog #47 Letting go-Healing from Loss & Grief

For a few months now, I have been honored to help guide some of my students as they go through supporting their loved ones to make their transition to Spirit. Mother’s, Father’s, Cousin’s and friends; doing Long Distance Healings, giving Last Rites and holding space and communicating with the Spirit to see what they are still finishing up on. Or as they say, helping them get their ducks in a row! I have been helping them to clear and call back their energy, so they may take it all with them when they go.

A wonderful healing tool which has been so very helpful through the years is the Healing Release Ceremony. It is a transforming tool for anyone who has a loved one who is making or has made their transition to Spirit. Often we don’t get to say goodbye or share the things we would like to say and this incredible simple healing tool allows you to do just that.

A beautiful way to let go of all your grief, sadness, doubts, guilt, pain, and anger… and forgive them and have them forgive you, and especially forgiving yourself. Then calling back your own life force energy; for you to be able to fulfill your Soul’s purpose and divine plan.

It is called the Healing Release Ceremony:

1.      Begin by sitting in a nice quiet place and clearing your mind and ground yourself from the first chakra to the center of the Earth.

2.      Become calm and centered and peaceful, running your Earth and Cosmic energy. Give yourself a nice deep breath.

3.      Let your God Self or inner guidance guide you to what you are ready to heal and let go of and who you would like to communicate with at this time.

4.      This is a profound healing tool for our physical, mental and emotional bodies.

5.      Next sit and write a letter to your loved one that has made their transition to Spirit or a loved one that you would like to heal your relationship with.
Example write: Dear Mother or Dear ________ and start with writing and letting go of all the pain, anger, hurt, that you feel. Let yourself cry and laugh and just feel all the feelings flowing out of your body right onto the page.  You may write two pages or twenty, just let yourself release it all. Just feel what you feel and let yourself express your feelings freely.
As you end the letter allow yourself to feel the love, forgiveness and appreciation for them, and them for you and especially for yourself!

6.      Then read your letter out loud like you are sitting across from them. They will be there with you energetically. Read the letter to them and say all the things you always wanted to say and never could or never had the chance to.

7.      Thank them for all they did or did not do and thank them for being there to hear your letter.

8.      Then burn the letter in the fireplace and watch it all go up in smoke. YOU ARE NOW FREE!

Call all your energy back into a big Gold Sun above your head of neutral loving joyous energy that is all yours. Open the Gold Sun like an egg and fill yourself up with this liquid gold from the top of your head to the tips of your toes and out through your aura. Feel the amazing healing calm and awareness that has freed up in your space.

9.      Breathe and feel the peace and calm within your body that letting go and forgiving has created for you.

Now you have given yourself space to Be, space to heal and space to create more in your own life.

Trust your intuition and follow your own inner guidance. Every day, we have the power to let go and to be more free to BE Ourselves!

You can even write yourself a release letter or anyone that you have unresolved or unforgiven emotional feelings with. A healing gift you give yourself so you can have your energy to fulfill your Life’s Purpose.

The power of this profound healing is incredible. After my Dad made his transition to Spirit when I was 18 years old, over a few weeks’ time; I sat and wrote him about five, 10 page letters. There was so much I never said or got to say to him. It was a powerful healing for me and opened my life up in all new levels that had seemed to have been closed off for me. I had my power and certainty back to move forward in my life.

I have written a release letter too many of my family members who have made their transition and family and friends that I chose to heal with. And when I am having a hard time or feel stuck, I will often write a letter to myself and then watch it go up in smoke and I always feel lighter and clearer.

I am so thankful for all our beautiful Spiritual tools for healing on all levels.  

Give yourself a little space and time to heal and process.
